Josh Bennett is a highly regarded defender who has previously played for Cribbs, Street and Mangotsfield, Taunton and has signed for the Bluebells from Melksham Town. He goes straight into the squad for the home game against top of the table Walton & Hersham.
Yate Town Assistant Manager, Paul Tovey said on the latest addition: "Really pleased to get this over the line and thanks to Luke and Melksham for helping us meet the deadline today. Josh has done well and been a vital part of several good teams in recent seasons, starting back at Street and carrying on in more recent times with Cribbs, Melksham and Taunton. He had a little taste of this league with Taunton last season and is keen to give it another go with us. Not only will he add to what we have on the pitch, he will also improve us off the pitch so am looking forward to seeing him make his debut tomorrow."
