Charlie Moody returns to the Bluebells

We are pleased to announce that Charlie Moody has re-joined on loan from Bristol Rovers.

Young Bristol Rovers midfield player, Charlie Moody, spent the opening weeks of the season with Yate Town but was injured in the FA Cup replay against Westbury United on 2nd September and subsequently returned to his parent club to recover. Moody played in the opening five league games of the season and the two FA Cup games against Westbury, some of these games as an emergency centre half.

Charlie Moody signed a professional contact at Bristol Rovers last summer. The midfielder served as captain of Bristol Rovers U18s last season and was part of the first-team squad during the pre-season schedule before joining Yate Town on loan. Moody joined Bristol Rovers at eight years old and climbed through the ranks of the Academy, reaching the U18s and captaining the youth side. A short loan with Cribbs followed in December 2024, who then played for Frome Town FC on another short-term loan in March 2025.

Yate Town Manager, Darren Mullings, commented, "We are delighted to welcome Charlie Moody back to the club. His previous loan spell was unfortunately cut short due to injury, but he has worked extremely hard throughout his recovery and is now back to full fitness. Charlie is eager to show everyone what he can contribute on the pitch."
