Yate Town are pleased to announce that Corey Evans, who spent 4 months on loan at the South West Interiors Stadium earlier in the season, has now returned to the club following his departure from League Division Two side, Newport County. Corey scored 7 goals in this time and was keen to link up with Darren Mullings’ squad again.
Yate Town assistant manager, Paul Tovey said:
“We are very happy to be able to bring Corey back into our squad for the rest of the season. For his first spell in senior football, he did brilliantly for us in multiple positions. The energy and goal threat he brings will be a massive asset for our remaining games and the fact that this type of player wants to come and play for us, shows that we are going about things in the right way.”
