Yate Town are delighted to announce the signing of Liam Cartwright on a one-month loan from Exeter City!
The Torquay born defender recently signed his first professional contract for The Grecians, this summer.
Cartwright has also been a regular captain for Exeter’s Under-18s side, with his team performances earning him the Senior Reds under-16s Player Of The Season.
Last season, Liam shined for the young Grecians, as he became a regular fixture for their Under-21s at the age of 17. Whilst also playing at a higher age group, the now 18-year-old defender had two loan spells last season.
The right-back went out to step four side Willand Rovers before having another loan in the same season with then step three side Tiverton Town.
Liam is available for this afternoon’s fixture against Bracknell Town.
Welcome to the Bluebells, Liam!
