On Tuesday evening Yate Town travel to Bishops Cleeve for a first-round tie in the Gloucester FA Challenge Cup and Yate Town manager, Darren Mullings, will be looking to involve some players who have been on the bench and need more game time plus looking to re-introduce any members of the squad who are coming back from injury.

Back in late September the teams produced an excellent game of football when the teams drew 2-2. After Harrison Reeves had given the home side the lead after 15 minutes Yate scored a second half equalising goal through Joe O’Loughlin on 57 minutes then went ahead with a wonderful goal from Sam Pashen with only 6 minutes remaining only for Bishops Cleeve to hit back immediately through Ross Langworthy to share the points.

At present, Bishops Cleeve, managed by Paul Collicutt, sit in 10th position in the table having won 4, lost 4 and drawn one game in the League (the game against Yate Town).

The winners of this game play Cirencester Town at home in the quarter final either in the week beginning 20th November or the week beginning 18th December.
