Yate Town kick-off their pre-season friendlies on Monday evening with a game at Corsham Town Football Club, who play at Step 5 in the Hellenic League Premier Division.
With pre-season training having started at the end of last month and the late cancellation of Saturday’s pre-season friendly at Mangotsfield United, this will be the first chance for Bluebells fans to see the new squad that team manager, Darren Mullings, has been building over the summer. With new additions in Dan Ball, Dayle Grubb, Matt Britton, Rex Mannings and Dave Sims-Burgess a lot of experience has been added to the squad and Darren Mullings will be looking to use most of his squad and some trialists too.
Corsham Town play their home games at The SECURE Stadium, Lacock Road, Corsham, SN13 9HS and please note that the game kicks off at 7.30pm
There might possibly be some familiar faces in the Corsham Town side, such as Nick McCootie, Jerry Lawrence (who was on loan with Yate Town last season from Bristol Rovers), Chris Lines and ex-Bristol Rovers goalkeeper Ryan Clarke.
