Southern League Premier Division South

Saturday 11th April 2026 – kick-off 3.00pm

Be there to support YOUR local club.

Yate Town travel to the south coast to play Gosport Borough, following on from a 4-game unbeaten run which has brought them 8 points. With the lower reaches of the table still very compact, and a number of clubs in danger of the drop, the Bluebells have all to play for as they sit in 17th position, two points clear of the bottom four, and come the end of the season, even goal difference may well play a part in deciding who stays up and who goes down.

Form guide

Meanwhile, Gosport Borough with 38 games played, occupy 10th place in the table, having won 17 games, drawn 6 and lost 15 times; scoring 65 goals and conceding 64 whilst amassing 57 points. They are 9 points outside the play-off places, but with a game in hand (away to Tiverton) on their rivals.

Their form has been mixed recently and they have slipped from being strong play-off contenders having won just three of their last 10 games, drawing twice and losing five times. A run of three consecutive defeats has put them into mid-table having lost at Havant & Waterlooville on Easter Monday (0-4), at home to Uxbridge on Good Friday (1-2) and at Berkhamsted on 28th March (1-2).

Prior to this, in March, they beat Poole Town 1-0 at home, won 2-0 at Bracknell but lost 1-2 at home to Sholing. February started with Gloucester City winning 2-0 at Privett Park and this was followed by home draws against Chertsey (2-2) and Dorchester (2-2) before the month ended with a 3-0 win at Basingstoke.
