Form Guide

After finishing as champions of the Southern League Division One South at the end of season 2023/24, last season, Wimborne finished in 10th position, having retuned to the higher level following their relegation at the end of season 2021/22.

In the FA Cup they had a good run, and after being Bishops Cleeve 5-2 away, Wimborne beat Bath City 2—1 at home in the Second Qualifying Round but fell at the next hurdle to another National league South side when Worthing beat them 3-0 at the “New Cuthbury”.

In the League Wimborne sit in 8th position and have only lost three times, at Basingstoke, on the opening day of the season, at Gosport and at current league leaders on Saturday, Walton & Hersham.

One of their wins was on August Bank Holiday Monday when they beat Weymouth 3-0 at home in front of a crowd of 1489. In the FA Trophy they were also at home to Weymouth and won that game 2-0 to progress to the next round.
