Tuesday 25th November 2025 – kick-off 7.45pm

Be there to support YOUR local club.

The Bluebells are at home again this Tuesday when they play the return fixture against Basingstoke, where they lost 2-4 on 23rd September. This will be the first evening game when the club’s new floodlights will be in operation for the entire match.

After the Bluebells excellent 4-1 win at home against Bracknell Town on Saturday, and climbing to 13th place in the table, they will be looking to carry on their much-improved form of late, against a side one place and one point above them in the league table.

Form Guide

This is Basingstoke’s third season back at Step 3 having gained promotion from Step 4 as champions of the Isthmian League South Central Division at the end of season 2022-23. The club have previously spent many seasons in the National League South before being relegated in 2018.

After finishing in 15th position last season, in the Southern League Premier Division South, Basingstoke Town currently sit in 12th position with 21 points, having won 6 of their 18 league games played whilst drawing 3 and losing 9 and, in the process, scoring 26 goals and conceding 31 times. Their away form sees them winning two of their nine games away from the Winkelbury Sports Complex, whilst drawing two and losing five.

After a poor start to the season their form has improved with away wins at Gosport (4-3) and Weymouth (2-1) plus home wins against Yate Town, Chertsey (2-1) and Berkhamsted (2-1).

However, they lost at home to Farnham (1-4) and Gloucester City have beaten them both away and last week, at home. On Saturday they lost by the only goal of the game at Poole Town.

The club have lost the services of Charlie Austin, who having signed in the summer has moved to Hungerford Town, whilst Bradley Wilson, scorer of over 100 goals for the club, has also departed, but Basingstoke have been busy making a number of signings recently.

Previous meetings

The two teams met for the first time back in September, at Basingstoke, and two first half goals from Bradley Wilson put the hosts in front before an own goal from Jack Ball on the stoke of half time gave the Bluebells some hope. But two second half penalties, by Liam Ferdinand and the Wilson to complete his hattrick made the score 4-1, before Aaron Evans-Harriott, coming on as a late substitute for Yate, and making his debut, scored with only moments of the game left.
