It’s back to League action this Saturday following the Bluebells narrow FA Trophy defeat against Poole Town last week, when they entertain Hertfordshire based, Berkhamsted, for their first ever visit to the South West Interiors Stadium.

Form Guide

After finishing in second place in the Southern League Division One Central last season Berkhamsted breezed through the play-offs beating both Hadley and Flackwell Heath 5-0 to gain promotion. They had gained promotion from the Southern League Division One Central in season 2022/23 but then played only one season at Step 3, in the Southern League Premier Division Central, but were relegated at the end of their first season at this level, but bounced back immediately to gain promotion again last season.

Berkhamsted currently sit in 14th position in the Southern League Premier Division South having played 9 league games, wining 3 of their first 4 league games in August, but their next 5 games have seen them pick up just 2 points with draws against Hanwell and Plymouth Parkway.

In the FA Cup after beating St Ives Town at home they lost at Billericay whilst last Saturday, in the FA Trophy, they lost 0-1 at Isthmian Premier League side at Cray Valley (PM)
