Yate Town v Plymouth Parkway

Southern League Premier Division South

Saturday 27th September 2025 – kick-off 7.45pm

Be there to support YOUR local club.

Following two away games, at Dorchester and Basingstoke, the Bluebells return to the South West Interiors Stadium, for this rearranged fixture, with both teams out of the FA Cup. The Bluebells will be hoping to maintain their unbeaten home League record after being buoyed by their recent win against Tiverton Town earlier this month. With a host of teams occupying the lower regions of the Southern League Premier Division South table, a couple of wins would propel a team into a mid-table position. Yate Town manager, Darren Mullings, is looking to freshen up his squad and at the same time hoping that the injury list is at a minimum.

Form Guide

After finishing in 13th position last season in the Southern League Premier Division South, Plymouth Parkway, like the Bluebells have not got their season off to a flying start and like Yate Town, their last two games have been away from home. Last Saturday they drew 2-2 at Berkhamsted and on Tuesday evening, at Wimborne Town, Plymouth Parkway conceded two late goals to lose 2-3. Points have been picked up with draws at home to Dorchester (3-3) and at Basingstoke (1-1) whilst they have lost at home to Weymouth (0-2), Poole Town (0-1) and at Havant & Waterlooville (0-1). The opening day of the season saw them lose 3-6 at Walton & Hersham but a week later they beat Gloucester City 2-1 in Devon. In the FA Cup they were knock out by Frome Town who won 4-0 in Devon.

Recent meetings

Yate Town and Plymouth Parkway have only met twice before, in season 2022/23, with the Bluebells winning for only the second time in the season with a 4-0 victory, with goals from Mitchell, Lambert 2 and Tumulty, at the South West Interiors Stadium, on 11th October 2022. In the return fixture in Devon, Plymouth Parkway won 2-1 on 25th February, with Darren Mullings scoring for the Bluebells. At the end of the season Yate Town were relegated whilst Plymouth Parkway finished in 10th position in the Southern League Premier Division South.
