Yate Town v Tiverton Town
Southern League Premier Division South
Tuesday 9th September 2025 – kick-off 7.45pm
Be there to support YOUR local club.
Amazingly, for the fourth consecutive home League game, Yate Town entertain a team that has graced Wembley Stadium with a final appearance in a Cup competition – with Tiverton being FA Vase finalists in 1992.
The Bluebells, entertain Tiverton Town, under the lights on Tuesday evening, and are unbeaten at home in the league – with all three games being drawn. They got another valuable point at home to Gosport Borough on Saturday and were so close to getting all three.
Yate Town manager, Darren Mullings, has had his squad tested to the limits with injuries this season but slowly these players are returning to action.
This will be the club’s last game under the existing floodlights with new floodlight being installed later this month.

The new floodlights to be installed at the South West Interiors Stadium.
Form Guide
After finishing in 17th position last season in the Southern League Premier Division South, Tiverton Town started the season with a 0-2 reversal at home to Chertsey and after winning 3-1 at Dorchester in their second game recorded only their second win of the campaign with a 2-0 win at home to Bracknell Town on Saturday. Losses away to Hungerford (1-2) and Taunton (0-3) plus a second home defeat against Sholing FC (0-1) means that they currently sit in 15th position in the League table on 6 points having scored six goals and conceded nine. Like the Bluebells their FA Cup journey ended at the first hurdle when they lost a seven-goal thriller at Ladysmead against Taunton Town, whom they had hosted the previous week in the league.
Recent meetings
Yate Town and Tiverton Town have met many times over the years, the last times being in season 2022/23 when Tiverton won 4-2 at Ladysmead in September and the return fixture, at the end of January 2023, ended goalless.
