Yate Town v Westbury United

FA Cup First Qualifying Round Replay

Tuesday 2nd September 2025 – kick-off 7.45pm

Be there to support YOUR local club.

Following on from the 2-2 draw between both sides on Saturday, at Meadow Lane, both teams will go again to earn the right to play National League North side Oxford City, who currently sit in 22nd position, in the Second Qualifying Round of the FA Cup on Saturday 13th September.

The late equaliser from substitute Marlon Jackson sets up an interesting encounter and the Bluebells will need to be at their best with 2 other Southern League Premier Division South sides going out to lower-level opposition on Saturday, in Weymouth and Plymouth Parkway. Five teams being forced to have replays with Gloucester City, Dorchester Town, Hanwell and Poole Town, plus the Bluebells having to play again whilst, Havant & Waterlooville lost to Step 3 side Chichester from the Isthmian Premier as did Uxbridge to Welling United. Bracknell have to replay against another Step 3 side, Dartford. The two all-Southern League Premier Division South ties saw Taunton beat Tiverton and Gosport beat Basingstoke.

Yate Town manager, Darren Mullings, will be hoping that his returning players from injury came through Saturday’s game unscathed. Dan Depmsey is suspended following two bookings at Hungerford. Chris Zebroski’s sending off in the same game has been rescinded so he will be available for selection. Mullings will also be able to include new loan signing from Newport County, Corey Evans, in his squad.

The winners of the tie will receive £2250 in prize money while the loosing side will collect £750.
