Yate Town are pleased to announce the signing of Oli Jenkins on a one-month loan, from National League South side, Weston-super-Mare.
Jenkins (pictured below) was signed by Yate Town in the autumn of 2023 and made 25 appearances and scored 4 goals in season 2023/24.
Last summer (2024), he joined Weston-super-Mare but retuned to Yate on loan at the start of the season, making 2 appearances and 7 from the bench, scoring twice, before returning to Weston super-Mare.
Yate Town manager, Darren Mullings commented on the return of Jenkins, ”We are really excited to welcome back Oli to the club. He is a player we know well and we’ve seen the impact that he can have on the team. His versatility will also be vital in the coming weeks.”
Yate Town have also added Jack Karadogan to their squad. The 21-year-old started his career with Newport County and has recently played for Sanliurfaspor in Turkey.
Mullings commented, “Jack is an exciting forward thinking midfield player with an eye to goal. He joined us towards the end of pre-season, but we have had to be patient while awaiting international clearance. I am looking forward to having him join the squad on Saturday.”
