Sambu signs from Merthyr
Yate Town are pleased to announce that Adulai Sambu has signed for the Bluebells. Sambu joined the Merthyr Town in January 2025 after spending the first part of the season with Rushall Olympic and Hungerford Town. The former Cheltenham Town midfielder made 6 EFL appearances, as well as enjoying loan spells at Cirencester Town and Hungerford Town.
Aaron Evans-Harriott, who joined the Bluebells from Bishop Cleeve in late September, has joined Slimbridge and is on dual registration.
Grubb departs
Yate Town can report that midfield player, Dayle Grubb, signed in the summer after being with Gloucester City last season, has left the club to become part of the management team at Bridgwater Town. Grubb made 7 appearances for the club and also appeared from the bench 5 times.
We thank Dayle for their time at the club and wish him the best in his future career.
