Preparations for the new season are well underway, and we’re delighted to confirm our full programme of pre-season fixtures. The schedule provides a fantastic mix of local rivals, league opposition and academy sides, giving supporters their first opportunity to see the squad in action ahead of the 2026/27 campaign.
We begin with an away trip to Mangotsfield on Saturday 4th July before welcoming Barry Town United, Briton Ferry and Derby County U21s to our home ground. We will also take on Bristol Rovers twice during the summer, including a first-team fixture on Friday 24th July and a meeting with their U21s four days later.
Family-Friendly Friday Night Football
Our home fixture against Bristol Rovers on Friday 24th July will kick off at the earlier time of 7:00pm.
The earlier start has been agreed to make the evening more accessible for families and younger supporters, allowing children to enjoy the matchday experience without the later finish that often comes with traditional evening kick-offs. We hope it will provide the perfect opportunity for families to come along, support the team and enjoy a summer evening of football together.
Friendly Wanted
The club are still looking for a friendly against Step 4 or above opposition on the 1st August. If you are interested please contact manager@yatetownfc.co.uk.
Ticket Information
Admission prices and ticket details for all pre-season fixtures will be announced in due course. Supporters are advised to keep an eye on the club website and social media channels for further updates.
We look forward to welcoming you back as we build towards the new campaign. Your support throughout pre-season will be greatly appreciated as the squad takes its first steps towards the season ahead.
