Yate Town manager, Darren Mullings, has completed his hectic pre-season with the signing of left sided player Ross Staley.
Staley (30) played for Yate Town during part of season 2022/23, scoring in the 2-3 defeat at home to Poole Town. Last season he was part of the team that helped Frome Town win promotion to the Southern League Premier Division South
A very skilful left sided player, Staley has also had previous experience with Gloucester City, Herford United and Taunton Town as well as playing abroad in New Zealand for Rockingham & Eastern Lions and more recently in Australia for Manurewa. Ross was at Bristol Rovers as a youngster.
Yate manager, Darren Mullings commented, “I am really pleased to get Ross over the line. He is an intelligent footballer with experience and quality. He will add further depth and competition to the squad.”
