Off the field it was a very successful day on Boxing Day when Bristol Manor Farm were the visitors. In an entertaining game, that ended 1-1, in front of an excellent crowd of 785, a lot was also going on in the clubhouse where commercial and sales manager, Stewart Thomas, looked after two groups of sponsors; in total 25 people enjoyed the hospitality – Trashman Clearance and Tom Harris Construction and the Mayor of Yate, Ben Nutland was also in attendance as a guest of the Leach family who own Trashman Clearance. Ben really enjoyed his afternoon and sent a message to Stewart to say, “I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for making me feel so welcome. Please extend my gratitude to Mark (Thorne) and the players as well. It was an excellent day.” Stewart, plus Jodi, and especially Titch and the other bar staff, helped to make it an excellent day all round in the clubhouse as they looked after all the visitors to the bar. The pictures below show the sponsors enjoying their food and drinks during the afternoon.
Below shows pictures of the crowd behind the goal and in the stand prior to kick-off on Boxing Day.
