Yate Town return to South West Interiors Stadium to face Chippenham Town in the second qualification round of the FA Cup.
The Bluebells are back at home following a first away win in the league this season last Saturday against Hanworth Villa.
The Opposition:
It’s not the first meeting between The Bluebells and The Bluebirds this season. The two sides faced off in the second game of their seasons which resulted in a 1-1 draw after Chippenham equalised in the 93rd minute. Since then, The Bluebirds have gone on to win two and lose four in the league where they now sit in 17th position. The visitors come into this game off the back of a 2-0 loss away at Bath City last Saturday.
Chippenham Town managed to overcome Havant & Waterlooville via a replay to reach the second qualifying round. After a 1-1 draw, The Bluebirds would emerge victorious away from home in the replay 3-1.
Yate Town recorded a brilliant 3-0 victory over Devizes Town to secure their place in the second round.
Previous meetings:
Yate Town have already played one of their league matches against Chippenham Town this season which ended in a 1-1 draw. That was the first meeting between the teams after Chippenham were relegated from the National League South last season.
