Parking at Yate Town FC on matchdays

Yate Town F.C. are again expecting a bumper crowd for their Pay What You Want match, the club’s Community Day, next Saturday 19th October, against Tavistock with a 3pm kick-off.

Following concerns by local residents regarding parking on match days, club Chairman, Mark Thorne, had a positive meeting with a resident last week.
Before the last match we reminded supporters to consider local residents and show respect to the club’s close neighbours and businesses that operate close to the ground.

We have asked supporters to avoid parking in The Addlings (a new road end of Lodge Road) which has tight roads and limited parking space for residents. Unfortunately, some spectators either ignored the request or just did not know about the request and this caused some negative feedback from the residents of The Addlings.

So, the club ask again to please avoid parking on this road. It’s nice to learn that some residents of this road now watch your club play matches at the South West Interiors Stadium.
We also kindly ask supporters to not park in the Fox pub car park as this is for patrons use only.
If you park over the trading estate please make sure you’re aware of any parking restrictions that may be in place.
Why not look into walking to the ground or riding your bikes?
Why not plan to arrive early as we will be showing the TNT sports Spurs v West Ham match which starts at 12.30pm?  We will have drink offers from 12.30pm to 1.30pm.

Thank you for your continued support and we look forward to your cooperation in this matter, which will be greatly appreciated.

Up the Bluebells!
