Yate Town Football Club are pleased to announce a link up with Sodbury Fuels who have agreed to sponsor the new plastic reusable pint containers for beer, lager and cider etc.
The are now 1000 of these in the clubhouse at the South West Interiors Stadium and this helps promote sustainability, so that disposable plastic ones are no longer used by the club, plus of course it is always safer to use these types of drinks container.
Bar manager Jodi Poole and her family have been instrumental in this partnership and the club would like to thank Andy Welch and Lisa Welch from Sodbury Fuels for their support. A £1 deposit is paid for each container and is added to amount when customers pay for their drinks and the deposits paid are then refunded once the containers are returned to the bar.

Sodbury Fuels
In 2014 Andy Welch partnered with Mark Nolan, of Nolan Oils, to form a new fuel distribution company to be based in Chipping Sodbury, Bristol. They called it Sodbury Fuels, and the rest they say is history!
The company has gone from strength to strength and was set up as a limited company in its own right in 2016. Sodbury Fuels follows the same ethos as Nolan Oils and is a proudly independent, family owned & run business. Andy and Lisa continue to run the company and one of their delivery drivers is even Andy and Lisa’s son, Owen, who came into the business during covid and has worked his way through the business.
Andy continues to run the company with the support of his wife Lisa and one of our delivery drivers is even Andy and Lisa’s brother-in-law! We are able to provide fuels and lubricants for homes, farms and industry.
Based in Chipping Sodbury we are able to cover areas including South Gloucestershire, Gloucester, Somerset and Wiltshire.
