Yate Town v Poole Town
Saturday 8th November
Honouring the Fallen

We will remember them.

On Saturday afternoon, Yate Town FC will be paying their respects to the military personnel who paid the ultimate price for us all.
With this game being the last one played at the South West Interiors Stadium before Remembrance Day, Yate Town FC will be observing a period of silence prior to kick-off to provide everyone with the opportunity to salute the fallen, with The Last Post being played.
The club are proud to support The Royal British Legion in helping members of the armed forces, veterans and families and will be holding a bucket collection at half time.
The players (with the mascots for the day) will emerge from the tunnel at 2.50pm and a wreath will also be laid in the centre circle, with The Last Post played, followed by a period of silence, and kick-off at 3pm.
We ask that fans can be ready in the ground by 2.50pm, prior to these events, in order that they have the opportunity to pay their respects.
All military and ex-military personnel will be able to gain admission for free, to watch the game, by showing the correct identification.
The photograph shows The Last Post being played at the South West Interiors Stadium on 9th November 2024, when Westbury United were the visitors.
Donations can be made online to the Royal British Legion (Poppy Appeal)
