Yate Town FC are delighted to announce the next step in our continued growth and community involvement. Following the success of our Under 18s sides we are proud to announce a new addition – Yate Town Women. The team joins us from Pucklechurch Ladies and will rebrand as Yate Town Women.
We hope that you share our enthusiasm – and will be able to get yourselves down to support the team and enjoy their games next season.
Yate Town season ticket holder will enjoy FREE entry to both the home Women’s fixtures and the Under 18s fixtures, at the South West Interiors Stadium next season.
The photograph below shows Michael Mayes, Malc Soper and Martin Lewis at the Manchester United Legends game on 19th April, when they signed the agreement with the club to form the Yate Town FC Women’s team, along with Yate Town club Chairman, Mark Thorne. Also in attendance was Nicola Glanville who has helped to support this initiative.

Firstly, I would like to thank Pucklechurch for everything over the years – I wish the club nothing but success in the future.
I am delighted to finally get this over the line. Since my first meeting with Mark Thorne last July, it was clear that both parties shared a vision of building something successful, not just in the short term but in the long term as well. There is a lot to look forward to both on and off the pitch, and I am proud to have been part of the process in getting this agreement done.
Whilst Yate Town Chairman, Mark Thorne, said:
I’m so pleased the club now has an official Woman’s team playing under the banner of Yate Town FC. This will certainly give all young girls a very strong pathway opportunity to step up into the woman’s game.
The club are also very pleased to announce that we are expanding our relationship with FD Cummins, who will become the front of shirts sponsor for the women’s team.
