As Yate Town FC continue the challenge of improving the playing squad, its links with the local community and at the same time trying to enhance the match day experience and the facilities at the South West Interiors Stadium it is important that the club looks for the necessary help and support to achieve these challenging aims.
The Chairman, Mark Thorne, and his committee are working hard to put plans in place as team manager Darren Mullings strives to improve his squad to be able to challenge for promotion.
As with any football club the main aim is to put a successful team on the pitch but for this to be possible and sustainable, there are so many elements that need to be successful to achieve this fundamental aim.
One important part has been played by the people who have contributed the Bluebells Budget Booster which is a ring-fenced amount of money that goes towards the team manager’s playing budget. These contributions have helped enable Darren Mullings to make the important signings that have been made recently and the club greatly appreciates these generous contributions, some of which have been made anonymously.
We are looking to have a meeting, in the next few weeks, with these contributors and Darren Mullings so that he can talk about his aims and objectives and give contributors the chance to ask questions.
If you would like more information, please contact Mark Thorne at Chairman@yatetownfc.co.uk or on 07867 382 842
Mark commented, “The Bluebells Budget Booster has been a well-supported initiative during the first half of the season and it would be much appreciated if we could have some more interested parties. We will be inviting donators to a special meeting with Darren and also providing special access on matchdays.”
