Following on from the skydive, a month ago, by Guy Lomas to help raise funds for the Great Western Air Ambulance Charity (Yate Town FC charity of the season) and the Bluebells Budget Booster, to support the playing squad at Yate Town FC, the club presented a cheque for £360 to the GWAAC, which was half of the total money raised via a JustGiving page. The club and the Great Western Air Ambulance Charity would like to thank everyone who donated and also to Guy for his wonderful gesture.
The photograph shows Yate Town Chairman, Mark Thorne (left), presenting the cheque to Brain from the GWAAC with Guy (centre) in attendance just before kick-off for the pre-season friendly between Yate Town and Westbury United at the South West Interiors Stadium.
The club will be announcing their charity for the season for season 2024/2025 shortly and will also update you on the final total raised for the GWAAC over the past 12 months.
