As well as our Under-18s Western Counties Floodlit League team, we also have two more new Under-18s sides competing in the Bristol Combination League, and both kick off their seasons this Sunday (15th). The “Blue” squad are away at Bristol Central in Division 3 in a 2.00pm kick-off, while the “White” squad begin with a home match vs Fry Club, a match that kicks off at Chipping Sodbury School Sports Centre at 4.00pm. Spectators are welcome and it’s free entry.
Manager Ant Miles said: “We’ve been training for several weeks, and we’ve put the lads through a rigorous pre-season schedule of friendlies, but now the real stuff starts. We’re looking in good shape and we can’t wait to get the season proper underway. It’s a great thing to have so many Under-18s representing Yate Town FC at different levels.”
