Yate Town Football Club are excited to have created 3 squads of Under 18s for the coming 2024-25 season, this being the continued development for Yate Town FC both on and off the pitch, as you will have seen throughout the last season, with the improvements made in various areas of the club.
It is important to us that we reach out into the community and provide young people with the opportunity to progress into men’s football, as well as ensuring our young people feel part of our club, have fun and enjoy themselves, under one badge.
All three squads have been developed to help create a pathway through to the first team, aware that young people develop at different rates and a player currently in the Bristol Combination League squads can quite happily progress over time into the West Counties Floodlit League squad and then into the First Team.
The squads had 2 registration evenings, on Thursday 11th and 18th July in the clubhouse, and the media team caught up with Ant Miles (pictured) on the second date.
