Yate Town U18 Blue 0 Frampton Rangers 3
Bristol U18 Football Combination League Division 3
Sunday 2nd March 2025
Yate Town U18 Blue’s title hopes were dented again as they were beaten by Frampton Rangers in Division 3 of the Bristol U18 Football Combination League.
The young Bluebells never really got going in the first half, and two goal in two minutes halfway through the first-half gave them a mountain to climb.
A change of shape at half-time, and the introduction of Harvey Cotter and Man of the Match Luis Matthews, did bring about an improved second-half showing, but Yate still couldn’t muster a serious threat on goal, and the visitors added a late third as Yate pressed forward.
Yate Town U18 Blue must win their final league match, at home to Westbury Park, next Sunday, and hope that other results go in their favour, with some teams as many as four games still to play.
Starting XI: Kalel Caswell; Archie Stanton, Dan Leary, Leyton Bath, Logan Briggs; Kris Olah, Ollie Barton; Archie Morrison, Freddie Everson; Pete Roberts, Jayden Brown.
Substitutes: Luis Matthews, Sam North, Harvey Cotter.
Man of the Match: Luis Matthews.
