Yate Town are pleased to announce that following the introduction of three Under 18 sides for the coming season, one which will play in the Under 18s Western Counties Floodlight Youth League and the other two in the Bristol Combination League, have appointed club kitman James Hicks to take over the duties of ordering the kits from the club’s suppliers, Macron, and also ensuring that all is ready and in good order with the players’ kits for match days. James already does this for the first team and will now have full charge of this area of the club.
Chairman Mark Thorne commented, ”James has proven over the last couple of years his professional approach to being the club’s kit man. With the addition of the three Under 18s teams next season his workload will be greatly increased and we’re confident he will continue his great work. Also, James has developed a good working relationship with the club’s kit supplier Macron.”
James Hicks (pictured) said, “I really enjoy being kitman for the first team and this is a great opportunity to be part of the Under 18s set up too and bring a consistent approach to the way the club is managed.”
