Yate Town are at home again as they face off against Hertfordshire based Berkhamsted FC.
The Bluebells host their second consecutive league game at home in October against The Comrades.
The Opposition:
Berkhamsted have had a good start to their 2026/27 campaign as they currently sit 11th in the Southern League Premier South. The Comrades have collected 13 points in their first 10 league matches, just one point shy of the playoff places. In their 10 games so far this season, Berkhamsted have won four matches, drawn one and lost five. Their victories so far have come against Havant & Waterlooville (2-0), Chippenham Town (2-1), Hanwell Town (1-0) and Uxbridge (1-0). However, Berkhamsted are without a win in their last two league matches, losing to Hanworth Villa and Sholing.
The Comrades are still in both the FA Cup and FA Trophy. Last Saturday, Berkhamsted beat Redditch United 2-0 in the FA Trophy to send them through to the first round proper. Berkhamsted’s FA Cup opponents for their fourth qualifying round match will be National League side Southend United.
Watch out for the Berkhamsted club captain Jonothan Lacey who has 8 goals so far this season and was the top scorer in the 2023/24 FA Cup.
Previous Meetings:
The Bluebells and The Comrades met last year in the league with both matches ending in a draw. The South West Interiors Stadium played host to a 0-0 draw between the sides almost one year to the day of Saturday's match. Berkhamsted played host to a 1-1 draw between the teams in the reverse fixture at the end of January this year.
